These alternative investment opportunities take on the strategy of investing in alternative investments, that generate income. It is not necessarily dependent on whether the financial equity market, is in an increasing, decreasing, and/or non trending market.

Examples of alternative investments include the use of marketable securities such as the purchasing and/or selling of calls and puts on individual stocks and index equities. From time to time, the use of short selling, and leveraged long buying of individual equities may also be appropriate so as to capitalize on short term investment opportunities, without the presumed addition risk related to a leveraged transaction.
